Additional Description
Great-grandson of Charles Edenshaw, the legendary Haida carver, Davidson began carving at age 12. He was the first Haida artist to represent his people's art through the medium of silk screening. His reputation as an artist was well established by the time he was 30 years of age, with commissions in Europe behind him and having served as a delegate at the World Council of Craftsmen conference in Dublin. His prints are highly valued. This book provides collectors with a biography and complete listing of his prints to the time of publication.
